20 Hot Male Actors Under 20 in 2016
We had so much fun thinking up and creating the 30 Hot Male Actors Under 30 in 2016 and then the 30 Hot Female Actresses Under 30 in 2016 that we decided to bring you a brand new one! We’re looking at the youngsters in Tinseltown and the mark they’re already making on such a competitive industry.
Here are the 20 Hot Male Actors under 20 in 2016:
1 – Dylan Minnette
Date of Birth: December 29, 1999
19 year old Dylan Minnette was born in Indiana and is both a musician and an actor best known for his roles as Zach Cooper in Goosebumps and the son of Jack Shepherd in the smash hit show, Lost.
There’s the Goosebumps movie to catch him out in and there’s also one more film for 2016 – A Man in the Dark. You’ll also find Stephan Lang and Jane Levy in it too.
2 – Jacob Lofland
Date of Birth: July 30, 1999
He was born in Arkansas and is now just shy of 20 but Jacob Lofland is well known for his part in Mud as Neckline, and also for the role of Aris in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Free State of Jones is the first movie in 2016 you should check out if you want to see more of him. Plus it also stars Matthew McConaughey which is never a bad thing right? It looks like a pretty intense movie so if you’re looking for something a little more light-hearted, why not take a peek at North instead. This drama-romance-adventure movie has got Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Patrick in it too.
3 – Asa Butterfield
Date of Birth: April 1, 1997
He might have been born on April Fool’s Day but there’s nothing funny or jokey about Asa Butterfield, the 18 year old actor from Islington, London in England. If you’ve ever seen the film, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, you’ll know exactly who he is. He was the little boy in question.
2016 is going to be a very busy year for this little Hollywood young’un and there are three movies set for release. Arrivals, The Space Between Us and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiars.
4 – Kodi Smit-McPhee
Date of Birth: June 13, 1996
19 year old Kodi Smit-McPhee was born in Australia and has been in some pretty high-profile movies over the years. Who could forget about Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, ParaNorman, Let Me In or The Road?
There are two awesome films coming out over the next year that you should definitely check out. The Solutrean is a thriller / action / drama film covering a survival story during an ice age. The movie we’re most excited for, of course, is X-Men: Apocalypse in which he plays Nightcrawler.
5 – Zachary Gordon
Date of Birth: February 15, 1998
A TV and film actor, 17 year old Zachary Gordon is definitely well known for the book turned into a movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid in which he plays Greg Heffley.
2016 is going to be an exciting year for this youngster too with a couple of movies set for release. Killing Animals is a drama which also stars James Franco and Cody Christian, and there’s also The Gettysburg Address, a documentary movie, which looks like it might be an interesting one to watch!
6 – Rico Rodriguez
Date of Birth: July 21, 1997
This child actor was shot to fame when he appeared in Modern Family as the part of Manny Delgado and a few years later, in 2012, he then wrote and released a book which of course, helped him greatly in the fame department!
He’s still carrying on with Modern Family for 2016 and there’s a few movies you’ll see him pop up in. El Americano: The Movie is the one we are most excited for and he plays the part of Cuco, the main part in fact, a Mexican parrot on a big adventure. We do love a good animated movie!
7 – Uriah Shelton
Date of Birth: March 10, 1997
This singer and actor was born in Texas and hasn’t done too badly for himself since playing the part of Joshua Matthews on Girl Meets World. He’s been in a few movies too and you might remember this cute little face from the likes of Blue in 2012 or The Glades in 2010.
There’s just one movie out in 2016 starring this guy, an action-adventure called Warrior’s Gate.
8 – Jaden Smith
Date of Birth: July 8, 1998
When you have one of the world’s best actors as your dad, it’s no wonder you go into acting yourself. Let’s face it, when your dad is as cool as Will Smith, you could pretty much do whatever you wanted… Right?
We fell in love with Jaden Smith a hundred times over the years but especially in that movie with his Dad, The Pursuit of Happyness.
You’ll see him in the TV series Brothers in Atlanta for 2016 – you should definitely give it a watch!
9 – Ryan Potter
Date of Birth: September 12, 1995
Not just a film and TV actor but a voice actor and even a martial artist too, Ryan Potter has been in a ninja in Nickelodeon shows, and even in the Disney movie Big Hero 6.
2016 will see this ninja trend continuing with Joe Jitsu in which he plays the lead role of Joey.
10 – Ian Nelson
Date of Birth: April 10, 1995
You’ll probably have spotted Ian Nelson in Teen Wolf and also in the The Hunger Games too. He played one of the male tributes from District 3.
If you want to see more of this youngun, you should look at Freak Show, a drama movie following a teen on his way to trying to become homecoming queen.
11 – Robbie Kay
Date of Birth: September 13, 1995
20 year old Robbie Kay is a British actor who’s been in some pretty serious movies over the years including Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He was also one of the little stars in the Once Upon a Time TV show that took the entire world by storm.
You can continue to spot him in the Once Upon a Time show and keep your eyes out for a movie called Cold Moon too.
12 – Kenton Duty
Date of Birth: May 12, 1995
Texan-born Kenton Duty is a dancer, an actor AND a singer and is more commonly known for appearing in Lost as ‘Young Jacob’ as well as starring in the Disney Channel show, Shake It Up!
You should keep an eye out for a movie called Little Savages for 2016. It will see Kenton Duty playing the part of Todd in the family movie on the hunt to find some treasure!
13 – Cody Christian
Date of Birth: April 15, 1995
Another cutie just in the 20 and under bracket, Cody Christian is an American actor who was seen in both Pretty Little Liars and Teen Wolf. In fact, he’s still in the latter, playing the part of Theo Raeken.
In fact, that’s where you’ll see him for 2016 but you’ll also catch a glimpse of him if you watch Killing Animals, a movie we’ve mentioned a few times so far.
14 – Timothée Chalamet
Date of Birth: December 26, 1995
Did you see the hit TV show Homeland? Timothée Chalamet was in that and he was also in the 2014 movie, Intersellar (which we loved). There’s plenty of time to keep checking him out too.
Two movies are set for release starting with Miss Stevens and ending with Hot Summer Nights, a drama set in Cape Cod about a young lad just coming of age.
15 – Luke Benward
Date of Birth: May 12, 1995
Not just an actor but a singer too, Luke Benward has been in a few films over the years, and TV shows too, things like Good Luck Charlie for the Disney Channel, and he was also in the 2014 movie Cloud 9.
There are actually three movies coming out over the next year starring this Hollywood hunk, Measure of a Man, Skate God and Fog City, all of which look pretty interesting. There’s also another movie announced (but no release date yet) called 16 South.
16 – Cameron Boyce
Date of Birth: May 28, 1999
One of the cutest and most adorable on the list today and we come to 16 year old Cameron Boyce, a dancer and young actor who’s well known in Tinseltown for his parts in movies such as Grown Ups 2, Grown Ups, Mirrors and Eagle Eye.
In 2016 you can catch him in a few TV shows – Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything as Conor, and also in Bunk’d as Luke Ross. There’s even a TV movie coming in 2017 called The Descendants 2.
17 – Colin Ford
Date of Birth: September 12, 1996
19 year old Colin Ford was born in Nashville, Tennessee and is not just an actor but a voice actor too. He bagged himself a Young Artist Award for his part in the series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. He was also in the TV series Under the Dome but the majority of us will remember him We Bought a Zoo with in which he plays Dylan Mee.
You can catch him out in the show Supernatural for 2016 – he plays the young Sam Winchester in the TV show.
18 – Owen Vaccaro
Date of Birth: Unknown
One of the very youngest on this list, but one of the actors that definitely shows great promise as he matures, is Owen Vaccaro. He’s been in just one movie so far, Daddy’s Home with Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Linda Cardellini.
There are two movies coming out in 2016 starring this adorable little cutie. Rom is currently being filmed and is a sci-fi flick but we’re more excited for Mother’s Day which will also star Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Jack Whitehall and a whole bunch of great film-names. We’re actually SUPER excited for this film!
19 – Forrest Goodluck
Date of Birth: April, 1998
You may remember Forrest Goodluck from the 2015 movie The Revenant in which he played Hawk. He’s actually from the same place that Breaking Bad was set – Alberquerque and the big movie was his first role, one he actually auditioned for at just 15 years of age.
There doesn’t appear to be much on the horizon so far for this little starlet but we predict big things for his future. Just you wait and see – he’ll be a big deal for sure.
20 – Tony Revolori
Date of Birth: April 28, 1996
He’s 19 years old (and soon to be 20 in fact) and American actor, Tony Revolori is already making quite the difference to the movie business and is well known for his part in The Grand Budapest Hotel as Zero Moustafa.
We’re very excited for the imminent release of The 5th Wave also starring Chloe Grace Moretz plus Nick Robinson is also making an appearance. Table 19 is another one you should keep your eyes peeled for, a movie that also stars Anna Kendrick, Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe from Friends) and Stephan Marchant among others. We reckon it’s going to be a great drama-comedy.

It all depends on the eye of the beholder! We actually had a difficult time narrowing down the list. Almost every actor in Hollywood is attractive, so there were literally hundreds of names to choose from. I enjoyed the list and actually most of the actors were spot on, you’re just missing my favorite actor CHANDLER RIGGS💜 He plays Carl Grimes on the tv show The Walking Dead. He’s 17 years old, so he’s a perfect fit for the list.

I see that some of the people have the wrong birth year. for example Dylan Minnette was born 1996 making him 19. you have him as born 1999, that would make him 16. just wanted to let you know! there is a few more too!!

I really liked the list although I may not have agreed to some it was still a very nice list. I was so happy when you included Ian Nelson though a bit disappointing that Dylan Sprayberry didn’t make it. Overall I still like the list, I’m hoping that Dylan makes the list next year
