Hey so my crush already knows I like him but he won’t go for me because his friend asked me to homecoming and I bailed three days later because my mom said I couldn’t date at that time, he doesn’t want to betray his friend. But he still looks at me during gym and bio, and he used to talk to me now he doesn’t, it’s almost like he’s bummed out because of his friend. I want to tell him I never actually dated his friend but I also want to seem chill and not look like a stalker. Should I write a note or have one of our friends tell him the truth, or should I get his friend that likes me tell him we never actually dated…..please help

So my crush already knows I like him, but when my friend asked him about it he said he couldn’t go for me because I ‘dated’ his friend, even though I really didn’t, his friend asked me to homecoming but I had to bail after three days because my mom said no to dating at the time. So he says he won’t go for me, yet he always stares at me in bio and gym. I really want to tell him I didn’t date his friend, but I also want to seem chill and not look like a stalker…. please help
