15 Signs Your Husband is Cheating
If your marriage seems to be a little ‘off’ lately and your husband just simply isn’t himself, you might start to wonder if he is cheating on you. However, before you jump to conclusions take a good look at these 15 signs your husband is cheating you so you can assess the situation better.
1. He Has a History of Cheating
You know what they say, once a cheater always a cheater. And while it’s entirely possible for someone to make a big mistake like cheating in their past and never do it again, the majority of individuals just don’t change. They will always have a wandering eye and find any excuse to cheat in their current relationship.
2. Lies Often
Does he lie about the silliest things, like doing the dishes when he obviously didn’t, or going to Target instead of Wal-Mart? While these may seem like simple, silly little lies that are almost comical, don’t take these small lies too lightly. Someone who can lie on the spot without even thinking about it (and not care that they are lying to their partner) will have an easy, guilt-free time lying about infidelity in the marriage.
3. He Hides His Phone From You
Has he been acting a bit more secretive with his phone? This is one of the biggest signs of a man who is cheating, or at least talking intimately with another woman. If he suddenly seems glued to his phone and runs to the bathroom, locking the door, every time you want to use his phone, it might be the time to worry about your husband cheating on you.
4. Has Secret Conversations
Does your man suddenly need to get off the phone with whoever they are talking to the moment you enter the room? When you ask him who he was talking to, does he simply say ‘nobody’ or ‘don’t worry about it’? If he’s having secretive conversations where he’s whispering to somebody in the other room, he’s probably talking to someone he is not supposed to and talking about things he doesn’t want you to hear. If something like this does occur, there’s a very high chance there’s another lady involved.
5. Spends Less Time With You
If your man is suddenly coming home late from the office on a regular basis, I think we all know what that means. Yes, he could have gotten more work and is making more money, but more than likely this is a sign of a cheating man who uses work as an excuse to spend more time at work. If he isn’t working and is simply out of the house more often than you’re used to, never having any time to go on a date with you, this could also point to cheating.
6. Acting Suspicious and Out of Character
When someone is doing something they aren’t supposed to, they simply act out of character- even if they don’t realize it. If your husband isn’t acting like himself and seems a bit more edgy and paranoid than usual, he might be trying to hide something and his conscious is making him act out of character.
7. Accuses You of Cheating
What better way to get rid of guilt than to shift the blame on someone else? It’s an old trick that NEVER works. So if he is trying to accuse YOU of cheating, he’s obviously got a guilty conscious that is trying to make things right.
8. Talking to Someone New…Often
Is he always texting or calling someone ‘new’? If you have never heard about this ‘new’ individual before and it seems like he is always in contact with her, there’s probably something a bit suspicious going on- especially if you know all of his friends and he brings you around all of his friends- new or old.
9. Seems Less Interested in You
A man who is cheating isn’t interested in hearing about the day you had at work, the cool movie you saw, or how your grandmother’s hospitalization is worrying you. He will most likely do the old.. “Ok, honey. That’s nice, honey.” but never really say anything. His lack of interest is almost an obvious sign that he doesn’t have the time to bother with you, as he is too busy engaging in conversation with his new woman.
10. Doesn’t Engage in Any Sexual Activity With You
Just like he isn’t interesting in listening to anything you have to say, he won’t be interested in having any sexual activity with you either. After all, why would he? If he has some lady on the side keeping him sexually interested, he will be too tired to share anything with you. If your once sex-crazed animal barely wants to give you a kiss goodnight, you might have a serious problem on your hands.
11. You Never Know Where He’s At
Is his phone off all the time (yeah, it died for the sixth night in a row)? Does he say he is going to the store but doesn’t come home un hours later? If you never know where he’s at, then he’s probably nowhere he should be. Keep an eye on this!
12. Suddenly Changes His Appearance
Men don’t just decide one day that they want to switch up their look. Ok, they can sometimes, but it’s pretty unlikely- unless of course they have a reason to; and this reason could very well be a new hottie he’s in cahoots with. If your man suddenly decides to cut his hair a certain way or wear a certain type of clothing, he might be trying to impress someone else.
13. Confuses Information and Details
If he can’t seem to get his story straight and is all over the place, it might mean that he has too many stories going on in his head to keep things straight. If your man suddenly seems out of the loop or keeps getting things mixed up, it might point to infidelity.
14. He Smells Like Another Woman
We all know this scenario: man comes home with the scent of another lady’s perfume. Did his boss, who happens to be a woman, decide to randomly hug him today? Did he go visit some family members? Or is that highly enticing smell come from a woman who was…extra close to your husband that night? I think we all know the answer to these questions..
15. Obvious Marks from Another Lady
If your man has come home with lipstick stains on his shirt or a hickey on his neck, I think there is a very, VERY safe bet that he is cheating. In fact, you would have to be pretty clueless or in complete denial to have any other explanation for these marks. While this is unlikely, it’s safe to say if your man comes home with any markings from another woman, he isn’t afraid of you finding out and probably wants out of the marriage altogether.
