3 Eyeliner Tips For Almond Shaped Eyes
People come in all different shapes and sizes. The same goes for our eyes! Eyes are one of the most noticeable features on our bodies and the place people look at most. Almond-shaped eyes are lusted after by many girls and they are truly a beautiful shape to have, but applying eyeliner to accentuate their beauty can be hard. So here are 3 tips to really bring out the gorgeous shape and bring out your those lovely almond-shaped eyes!
I recommend using liquid for all top lid looks or an eyeliner pen. To get the full look also use dark eyeliner and add some black mascara.
1. Make your eyes larger!
Carefully start by applying a think line of dark eyeliner on the top eyelid from the inner corner to the outer corner. Make sure you are keeping the line thin enough so that it hugs the shape of your top lid, right where it meets the bottom of your eyelashes. Next take the line from the outer corner and drag it out only a tiny bit past the outer corner to create a beautiful wing (as shown above.) Leave the bottom liner free, put mascara on and you’re ready to rock! A problem with almond eyes can be how small they seem so opening them up can truly beautify them!
2. Elongate those eyes!
Line the top lid with a medium thick line. Start by putting a tiny bit before the inner corner of your eye starts. Go up and around the top lid to the outer corner and drag the line in an upward curve past the outer corner. Take it up halfway to your eyebrow. Then create a thicker line as you bring down to the outer corner. Now take the eyeliner back to the inner corner where you first started applying and meet there again, but line the lower lid now and bring the line around to meet the outer corner liner. Sometimes almond eyes can seem smaller than most would like and this look brings more of a long, smooth look to smaller eyes.
3. Show off your shape!
Take eyeliner and start 3/4 of the way in from your inner corner and drag the liner across your top lid in a medium line to the outer corner. Then drag out for a slight and pointed wing. Then from the wing take your liner down the bottom lid and stop 3/4 of the way from the inner corner of the bottom lid. This really does truly accentuate your almond-shape by leaving a bit of your eye naked and then the black liner gives it a pretty flare.
