I really like the first hairstyle and how you mentioned that it’s a fine conventional styling but is also brilliantly simple. My daughters love to try new styles with how they color their hair and I think that this marooned subtlety balayage is a style I will have to show them or maybe try myself! I’ll just have to find a good stylist who can execute it well for us! Maybe I’ll see what other kinds of balayage styles they have available.

This is because the dark pigments in your hair will likely not allow the light colors to show. This is normal and that way for a reason. I’m planning to color my dark hair with ash brown or a light hair color. Do I really need to bleach my hair first so the hair color will show? This is going to be the first time that I’m gonna try to bleach my hair. And after bleaching, can I already color my hair with the shade that I want?

I think it depends a lot on how you pull your hair back and style it—there are ways to hide the roots. You can also do a root touch up so that it looks even as it grows out. Good luck!

I have naturally brown hair, and recently bleached my hair to platinum blonde. As my roots grow out is there anyway to make them look a little less like grown out roots and more like a style?

Dark hair colors will work best for you as they will be able to add color to where there is not. Light colors are less useful with grey hair.
