1 – Diego Luna

We first fell in love with Diego Luna when he starred in Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights, but he’s been in so many movies, it could have been any number of them that you remember his face from. His first movie was back in 1999 — A Sweet Scent of Death, and it wasn’t long before movie roles followed suit. It’s been at least one movie a year since then, with a few big hits along the way — The Terminal, for example, or Contraband.

There’s just one movie coming out in 2018 starring Diego Luna, called A Rainy Day in New York. Currently in post-production, the movie is also set to star Selena Gomes (can we talk about the recent get-back-together-with Justin Bieber?!), Jude Law, and also Elle Fanning.

It was actually in Mexico that his career first kick-started, initially with TV telenovela before moving on to TV films and Mexican movies. It wasn’t long after he moved to America that he began to get critical acclaim, however, with a string of movies under his belt. These include Alien: Covenant, The Hateful Eight, Dom Hemingway, and Machete Kills.

Eduardo Verástegui, also known as José Eduardo Verástegui Córdoba, is a 43-year-old Mexican chap who’s known for his singing, modelling, and acting skills. Born in Mexico, it was in musical entertainment that he found his passion, and it wasn’t long before his good looks led him right into the world of soap operas. It was after that he set his eyes on the world of Hollywood, and he’s been in a few over the years, even going as far as improving his English pronunciation in order to get better movie roles. Some of you may remember seeing him pop up in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, or even Little Boy in 2015?

He may not be one of the most conventionally attractive Mexican men, but he’s certainly one adored by many, an actor, scriptwriter, director, producer, comedian, entrepreneur, and writer … And we’ve still probably missed out a profession. He’s 56 years old, and he’s managed to squeeze a lot into his life, including starring in, co-writing, and directing the most successful movie in the Spanish language of all time — Instructions Not Included.
