There are few things more satisfying on a boring weekend than ordering Chinese takeout. Best of all, there are plenty of vegetarian options with Chinese food, and the dishes tend to be loaded in vegetables. Not only can you enjoy something that tastes delicious, but it can also be good for your physical health. You just have to be careful not to overindulge because a love of Chinese food could quickly add to your waistline!

There is one caveat with this list though. All of these dishes tend to be Americanized versions of Chinese food. China is a gigantic country with over a billion people. With so many different people and cultures, there is a wide variety of different cuisines. It would be impossible to represent them all on this list, and many of our favorite authentic Chinese dishes can really only be enjoyed in China. Instead of focusing on such a variety of Chinese cuisine abroad, we listed the 20 best Chinese food dishes that you can find close to home. You should be able to find most of these dishes at Chinese food restaurants in the United States, Europe and other western nations.

1. Egg Drop Soup

This is a traditional favorite in the west. Many Chinese restaurants actually include soup with the entree that you ordered, so you can easily try this dish with your lunch or dinner. This dish is made up of wispy beaten eggs, pepper, scallions and tofu cooked up in a boiled chicken broth. Some restaurants add veggies to the mix or subtract the tofu. Whatever they do, it still tastes delicious!

2. Shrimp and Bean Sprouts

While most American dishes avoid bean sprouts, we really think that they deserve a second look. Our favorite sprouts ever are mung bean sprouts, but just about any sprout will tickle your taste buds. Plus, this recipe includes a healthy blend of shrimp. The iodine in shrimp is supposed to be great for people with thyroid disorders.

3. Vegetable Fried Rice

Just about every Chinese restaurant will offer different types of fried rice. This option may just include a bunch of vegetables, or it may include tofu as well. If you get the option, choose the fried tofu—it is by far the best tofu option they offer (in our opinion).

4. Wonton Soup

If your Chinese restaurant does not offer egg drop soup, then they will probably offer wonton soup instead. This soup generally includes dumplings, and it is a specialty at many restaurants.

5. Egg Rolls

Egg rolls are similar to spring rolls and are often used as an appetizer at Chinese restaurants. They may include just vegetables, or they may include meats like pork. Spring rolls originated in China and were typically consumed during springtime, which is probably how they got the name.

6. Honey Sesame Chicken

This dish includes crispy, delicious chicken cooked with sesame and honey before being tossed on top of steamed white rice.

7. Chinese Eggplant With Spicy Garlic Sauce

If you have never seen Chinese eggplants, you should check them out. They are longer and thinner than western eggplants. Whenever we go to the Chinese grocery store, we always stock up on plenty of these to cook up with chilies and garlic.

8. Shrimp Fried Rice

This delicious recipe is easy to customize. Like other fried rice options, it starts by simply frying up rice with things like cabbage, carrots or peas. Then, you can customize the dish with foods like shrimp as well. Unlike some restaurant foods, this one still tastes great after being in a fridge all night!

9. Shanghai Dumpling

Dumplings are by far one of our favorite dishes. When we lived abroad, there was a dumpling place with different varieties and fillings. For about $2 to $3, you could stock up on a variety of dumpling options for your lunch.

10. Vegetable Chow Mein

Chow mein is actually an anglicized way of writing the Chinese words for “fried noodles.” The name is appropriate because that is essentially all that this dish is. You can get this dish with just about any topping, but we really enjoy the vegetable version.

11. Chicken and Broccoli

If you want to switch up your normal routing of beef and broccoli, this is a delicious, nutritious alternative.

12. Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

This is one of the most popular Chinese dishes in the country. It consists of beef and broccoli as the name suggests. Like many Chinese dishes, it can easily be cooked up in a wok. The meat is pre-cut, so you only need chopsticks or a fork to eat it. Interestingly, basically every type of traditional Chinese dish includes cut up meat. When I asked about this tradition, I was told that it was because it was considered impolite to have a knife at the table.

13. Crispy Pork Belly

The name does not do this dish justice. While I do not recommend attempting this at home, this dish is amazing to gorge on at a restaurant.

14. Pork and Shrimp Shumai

This is one of our favorite dim sum options. It is made by putting the shumai in cabbage-lined steamers. The steamers cook the dumplings thoroughly without drying them out. It is also to modify the recipe to make gyoza, but we really think that this version is one of the best.

15. Honey Garlic Chicken

This dish includes honey, garlic and chicken. What more could you ask for? Remember though—this tends to be made a little spicy. If you have a low spice tolerance, you should always talk with your server first to make sure that you do not get any unwelcome surprises.

16. Chinese Pork With Noodles

When it comes to your dinner, your most basic option is fried noodles or fried rice. You can’t go wrong with Chinese pork with noodles. This delicious recipe is so good that you could eat it for essentially every meal without getting tired of it. It is also another one of the options that still tastes great as leftovers.

17. Kung Pao Chicken

If you love spiciness, then this is the dish for you. You can ask to have it made even spicier, but it will already leave your mouth watering with spice. This dish is certainly one of the more popular options at Chinese restaurants.

18. Broccoli With Oyster Sauce

Bear with us on this one. We know that the West tends to avoid using oyster sauce on anything, but this dish will make you change your mind. Toss a few vegetables in with the broccoli, add some oyster sauce, blend in a few unique flavors, and you have a dish that you will gobble down in seconds.

19. Sesame Chicken

If you like sweeter options, go with the honey chicken we mentioned before. For something a little less sweet, the sesame chicken is sure to please.

20. Beef Lo Mein

You can order just lo mein, but we think that adding beef to it gives the dish an added flavor. Plus, it gives you the protein that you need to really feel full. You probably won’t have too much of a problem feeling full though because this dish is good enough to eat down to the last bite.

Starbucks customers visit Starbucks regularly for a number of different reasons. From their tasty bakery items to their deliciously pressed brews, people find themselves visiting Starbucks time and time again. There is just something about that place that gets you hooked! It may be the caffeine addiction that keeps us going back, but no one will really ever know what it is. It definitely varies on a person by person basis, so we can’t pinpoint just one thing. Come on, who could with how many different varieties and options Starbucks offers their customers?

A lot of people don’t come to realize on their own that Starbucks even serves smoothies. It tends to go right over their heads. It’s understandable, though, not every average coffee shop has that desired smoothie enjoying option for you. Starbucks does, though and that rocks! Because not only are they a great, refreshing beverage, but they are also pretty good for you, too!

What is a smoothie?

The dictionary describes a smoothie as a thick, smooth drink made from pureed fruit with milk, yogurt or ice cream.

Nowadays it is more commonly seen that smoothies are made with yogurts. Whether it’s greek on regular yogurt depends on the individual or business’s preference.

How does Starbucks make their smoothies?

Starbucks definitely steps outside the traditional box of smoothie making. Although they have the textures and flavors figured out, they create the smoothie a little bit differently than most others make theirs. What sets Starbucks smoothies apart from your average smoothie is that it isn’t quite as sweet. Their smoothies are not great for satisfying someone with a huge sweet tooth. They are definitely more played down and they really focus on the fruity flavors, without overwhelming their customers with unhealthy sugars added in.

Starbucks always uses one whole banana in their smoothies. Some smoothies are made with fresh bananas while others are made with frozen bananas. Although the flavor will be much brighter with fresh bananas, you won’t usually notice a difference if your barista uses the frozen bananas available to them. If anything, the only noticeable outcome is that frozen bananas create a thicker texture to the smoothie.

Starbucks adds up to two scoops of protein powder into all of their smoothies. This addition is one of the main reasons that Starbucks smoothies are less sweet than the average smoothie. Protein powder has a very powerful flavor and although it’s not really noticeable when you are consuming your beverage, it can lessen the sweetness of the drink overall. Starbucks uses their own brand of whey and fiber protein mix powder. It has 1g of fiber per every scoop. So that means every smoothie has about 2g of fiber from the protein powder alone. You can request to put protein powder in many other drinks besides smoothies, as well.

Are Starbucks smoothies safe for the lactose intolerant or people with food allergies?

The answer is no, not really, unless you tweak your order. That is not always a guarantee either. Even though you can substitute the milk in smoothies, you cannot take the small amounts of milk out of the protein powder. However, you are more than welcome to ask your barista to avoid putting any protein powder into your smoothie.

Starbucks puts a disclaimer on their website under all of their smoothies:

We cannot guarantee that any of our products are free from allergens (including dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, wheat and others) as we use shared equipment to store, prepare and serve them.”

What are the milk options for Starbucks smoothies?

  • %2 milk
  • 1% milk
  • Whole milk
  • Nonfat milk
  • Soy milk
  • Almond milk

What kinds of smoothies does Starbucks offer?

Starbucks smoothie options just keep growing and growing. They have added a whole new line of smoothies alongside of their original smoothies.

Let’s start off with the originals:

(All nutrition content was found on Starbucks.com)

Orange Mango Smoothie

A whole banana is blended with all natural orange mango juice. Milk, greek yogurt and their whey protein mix powder is added with ice. The orange mango juice is unsweetened and yet it tastes as good as ever!  Since this smoothie is not very sweet on it’s own, you can always add some of the sweeteners there are at Starbucks, or add the sweetener of your preference.

It is made with 2% milk unless it is requested otherwise by the customer.

This smoothie is also made with 2% milk unless otherwise requested by the customer.

As much as we love Starbucks, we know that the entire franchise is a lot more complex than we would like. With how many variations of coffees, drinks and food items there are at our beloved Starbucks, we are sometimes left with spinning heads when we walk out of there. We have to decided to lend a helping hand to our fellow Starbucks goers by creating the ultimate Starbucks drink guide! This guide will let you know everything that you could possibly want to know about Starbucks.

First, we will start by discussing how Starbucks make their famous beverages around the world.

For Espresso: Starbucks has these awesome things known as automatic espresso bars. These machines grinds the coffee beans and creates the espresso shots. It is a very convenient way to do things and helps Starbucks to create a quality product, but it requires quite a bit of maintenance throughout the day.

For Coffee: Starbucks baristas use a coffee press to create their delicious coffee. It allows for more flavor in the coffee and keeps them in control of how bold they want it to taste.

For Smoothies: Starbucks blends their smoothies with top of line blending equipment.

Not everyone is a fan of milk and sadly, most of Starbucks drinks are made with some sort of milk. The good news is that you can substitute milk out with a few other options.

Milk Options At Starbucks:

  • Nonfat Milk
  • Skim Milk
  • 1% Milk
  • 2% Milk
  • Whole Milk
  • Almond Milk
  • Vanilla Soy Milk
  • Coconut Milk
  • Breve (Half and Half)
  • Eggnog (Seasonal option)
  • Heavy Whipping Cream

Sometimes we worry about our waistlines or what  bad foods we put into the stuff we eat and drink. Starbucks understands that and that is why they offer skinny drinks, such as skinny lattes.

What is a skinny drink?

When you ask your barista to make you a skinny drink, they will give you a drink with nonfat or skim milk and sugar-free syrup.

Why make the choice to go skinny? Well, just look at the difference between skinny and non-skinny below.

Grande Latte

Calories: 250

Fat: 6g

Sugars: 35g

Skinny Grande Latte

Calories: 120

Fat: 0g

Sugar: 16g

See how vast that difference is? It is safe to say that the skinny option really proves to be the healthier choice!

Drink Sizes

Starbucks seems to do things a little differently when it comes to their drink sizes. They offer a wider variety of size options than most other coffee shops. Although you are more than welcome to ask for a small, medium or large at Starbucks, they do have specific sizing terms for their drinks.

Short (8oz):

The smallest drink that Starbucks offers is a short. It does not appear on their menu, so customers usually have to request it if they want it. They do not offer iced drinks in the size of a short. Customers are only offered hot beverages if they request the short size. They use this size as a kid’s size option, as well.

Tall (12oz):

This is what they consider a small at Starbucks. It is around 12 oz and the perfect size if you don’t want to over do it on the caffeine.

Grande (16oz):

This is what Starbucks considers their medium size option. The grande is the only size available for their smoothies.

Venti Hot (20oz) Venti Iced (24oz):

A venti is Starbucks’ large size option, but it comes in different sizes depending on what type of beverage you have decided to order. If you order a hot venti of any kind, you will receive a cup of 20 oz, but if you if order a venti iced, you will receive a cup sized at 24 oz. We are not sure why they do this, but that’s the way it is.

Trenta (30oz):

This is the extra large option on Starbucks drink menu. At 30 oz, the trenta is twice the size of the amount of oz a healthy human bladder can hold. How crazy is that?! It is only offered to you if you order iced coffee, refreshers or iced tea.

Espresso is one of the biggest hits when it comes to Starbucks. They have the perfect harmony of delicious, rich flavor and enough caffeine to get you through your day. Although all of the drinks seem to hold different caffeine contents, the average amount of caffeine in one espresso shot is around 75+mg. Espresso is not great for those who don’t react well to large amounts of caffeine or those with health issues.

But to help you get a better idea to how much caffeine is in Starbucks espresso, here is a list:

Espresso Shots

One shot (1oz):

A single shot of espresso is usually called a solo and they usually hold about 75mg of caffeine in them.

Two Shots ( 2oz):

Two shots of espresso is termed as a double or a doppio. They contain around 150mg of caffeine in them.

Three Shots (3oz):

Often called a triple, three shots of espresso has somewhere in the area of 225mg of caffeine.

Four Shots (4oz):

A quad is four shots of freshly made espresso. It contains a whopping 300mg in it. Not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.

You can request espresso that has less amounts of caffeine in them. Although it is impossible to give you completely caffeine free espresso.

One Shot Decaf (1oz)

Termed as a single or solo shot decaf, it has about 3mg of caffeine in it.

One Shot Half-Caf (1oz):

You will hear your barista call this out as a single or solo of half calf. There seems to be an average of 40mg in this shot!

Not everyone is aware of this, but Starbucks creates everything at different temperatures. And to be quite honest, customers can choose what temperatures they prefer their drinks to be at. This avoids giving someone with a sensitive palate something that may be too hot or cold from them. Take a look below to see what we mean.

Temperatures At Starbucks:

If you don’t request a certain temperature, a barista will create any drink up to 200 degrees fahrenheit.

Kids Drinks:

These drinks are prepared up to 130 degrees fahrenheit. This is done so that the kids can drink the beverage as soon as they receive it in their hands.

Extra Hot:

This is usually requested by customers who don’t plan on consuming their beverage immediately. The barista will make your drink at about 180 degrees Fahrenheit so that it will stay warm for a long time. This is perfect for people with long commutes to work.

Coffee/Tea Hot:

These types of drinks are usually prepared with water that is as hot as 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

One of our favorite things about Starbucks is the fact that they offer so many different flavors. Your taste-buds will never get bored with the never ending options list of flavors, syrups and toppings. You can truly mix it up everyday and the menu will just keep on adding new things or bringing back seasonal things! It’s an awesome situation for those who visit Starbucks quite frequently.

  • Pumpkin Spice: Made from pumpkin flavoring.
  • Chocolate Curls: Chocolate shavings. They are usually seasonal.
  • Molasses Drizzle: It is exactly what it sounds like.
  • Italian Roast Drizzle: A coffee infused drizzle that comes around seasonally.
  • Cookie Crumbles: Bits of cookies.
  • Caramel Crunchies: Crunchy candy topping that taste like caramel.

Without Starbucks, it can be a little more than difficult to get through those hectic days where you are just go, go, go all day long. It can be hard to function at all without any coffee in your system to keep you going. That’s totally understandable. Some of us have coffee running through our veins each and every day. Without it, we’d simply be big old useless piles of human. But sometimes our budgets just don’t allow any room for a delicious Starbucks creations. Instead we must break out our at home chef skills and see what we can do at home, without spending an extra dime. Good news! It is totally possible. You can enjoy a Starbucks iced coffee anytime, any day. The best part is that you can make it right in your very own kitchen! So, whether you need your midday cup or you’re prepping for a long night of exams, we have a way for you to keep yourself going without even needing to get in your car. Here is how to make a Starbucks iced coffee in the comfort of your own home.

What You Will Need To Make Iced Coffee:

  • 12 cup coffee press or a normal coffee maker.
  • 1lb Coffee of your choice. Starbucks uses their Kenya coffee blend, but they suggest their Willow Blend is just as good if not better! You can substitute for decaf. Starbucks sells a great decaf blend, too.
  • The pitcher of your choice. You can use a half gallon jug, a gallon jug or an iced tea pitcher. Whatever floats your boat really!
  • A measuring cup.
  • 5 ½ cups of ice. You need something to make the iced part of iced coffee come true!

What You Will Need To Make  The Syrup:

  • 1 liter bottle, with pump. It’s okay if you don’t have this, you can use a tablespoon instead.
  • 2 cups of sugar.
  • Water for boiling.

This recipe makes about a half of a gallon of iced coffee. You should not store or consume the coffee for more than a week. After a week any leftovers should be thrown out. Not only will it stop tasting as potent, but you don’t want to get sick! However, our theory is that this is going to be so delicious that this coffee won’t last more than just a few days in your fridge!

What You Need To Do:

The next steps really depend on whether you bought a pre ground coffee blend or if you have to grind it yet.

If you have to grind it:

Step One:

Choose which coffee blend you want to use. Starbucks uses their Kenya coffee blend because it has such colorful acidity and hints of fruity flavors. They claim that the more it is iced, the more prominent the flavors become. Grind your coffee well until it becomes coarse and resembles kosher salt. Starbucks says that their baristas are happy to grind your coffee before it even leaves the store, all you have to do is ask!

Step Two:

This next step depends on what type of coffee maker you are going to be using. Starbucks recommends using a coffee press, if you have one, due to it being more flavorful than if it were coming out of a regular coffee maker.

If you are using a coffee press:

Add hot water. The best brewing temp for almost all coffee, except for espresso, is 195 degree to 205 degrees fahrenheit. Bring water to a boil at the suggested temperatures and the remove from heat. Once you have removed it, let it sit for just a moment before you go ahead and pour it over your coffee. For a 12 cup press you will use 5 ¼ cups of water.

Position your plunger assembly fairly loosely on top. This will help to keep the heat in. Get a timer and set it for four minutes! This is how long you will let your coffee brew for. Position the pouring spout away from where you are and use the handle on the pot to hold it. Press the plunger down with your other hand very slowly, this will push the grounds to the bottom.

If you are using a regular coffee maker:

Measure out one cup (16 tablespoons) of your coffee blend. Proceed to pour coffee grounds into a coffee filter fitted for your coffee maker. Fill up your coffee pot to the 8 cup mark and pour into the back of your coffee maker. They say that using filtered water will bring the tastiest results! Now, it’s time to brew your coffee! Much easier than using a coffee press, but not nearly as delicious according to coffee experts.

Step Three:

Do you want your freshly brewed iced coffee more now than later? If so, pour your coffee brew into your pitcher or container of your choice and put it into your refrigerator and let it cool for up to ten minutes. After the five to ten minute mark is up, you can put your ice into the container.

Not so worried about having it right away? Put your ice into the container first and then pour your coffee over it.

There you go, now you have delicious Starbucks copycat iced coffee! Now we can proceed ahead to show you how to make your own syrup and add it to give your cold brew something extra.

How To Make Your Own Starbucks Syrup:

Step One:

Bring out a medium sized pot and start warming up 1 cup of water in it on your stove. Add in 2 cups of white sugar and stir in until it is all dissolved. You can do this best if you use a whisk instead of a spoon. A whisk guarantees a smooth product and eliminates any lumps. Try not to over-boil, because it will create a syrup that is too thick and it will crystallize more easily.

Step Two:

Once all the sugar in your water has dissolved you can now go ahead and pour into your liter bottle or whatever container you have chosen to you. Attach pump on top. It is recommended to use three or four pumps of syrup in a coffee this size.

To take a healthier route, you can use Agave Nectar in place of the classic syrup we have shown you how to make today. It tastes just as good and you don’t have to put in any extra work, because it comes premade in a bottle of it’s own. No mess and no stress!

Starbucks does have most of it’s syrups for sale every day in their shops. So, if you are really craving that cinnamon dolce syrup, you can get in your car and drive to your nearest Starbucks to pick it up right now!

Now you have all the tools and information you need to create Starbucks iced coffee from your very own kitchen, anytime! You can create your own syrup, use the store bought syrup or just go syrup free for more of a natural iced coffee flavor!

Making a cake is fun, but it isn’t always easy. If you do not have the right ingredients, the cost of making a cake can quickly add up. Luckily, there are a number of two-ingredient cake mix recipes that you can find online. While you may be wary about trying these at first, many of them are actually rather good.

These boxed mixes might not be quite the same as making a cake from scratch, but they are much more convenient. Plus, they are the perfect option if you suddenly have to have something ready for a group of people or forget to make enough food. Whatever your situation, these two-ingredient cake mix recipes can save the day. You can mix them up and bake them at a moment’s notice without a lot of fuss.

While you may not win a cooking award, these cake mixes will do in a pinch. These cake mixes tend to have a moist, dense texture, so keep that in mind. If you prefer lighter cake mixes, then you may have to make one from scratch. Many people prefer moist cakes though, so these may work for you.

The Tips to Getting the Best Cake

Keep in mind that your cakes will be different than they normally would be. They are not going to rise quite as much, so you may want to use a smaller pan. It may only take a single 9-inch pan instead of two since they will not rise as much. The items that should be pureed can be chopped up using a hand immersion blender or a food processor. In some cases, you can already buy a pureed version of the food such as with pumpkin puree.

If you want to make your cakes a little prettier, you can use a bundt pan for a fancier look. Different icings can also change the finished look and taste of the cake, so experiment with the types of options that you like best. If you do not have any icing on hand, you can always add some whipped cream on top. A little powdered sugar can be sprinkled on the cake to make it look like a photo in a cookbook.

Most of the cake mix packages ask for liquid of some sort before you bake it. Since you are adding in a second ingredient, you are already giving the cake the moisture it needs. Unless you want to make an odd, pudding-like cake, you need to skip out on the liquid asked for in the original recipe. Instead, just add your second ingredient and enjoy.

20 Two-Ingredient Cake Mix Recipes

1. Strawberry Cake With 7 Up

For this recipe, you use a strawberry cake mix at the store. Instead of the water normally called for, you add in 12 ounces of 7 Up instead. Blend the two ingredients together and follow the directions on the box.

2. Strawberry Cake With Diet 7 Up

We all know that sugar is not particularly good for us. If you are trying to lower the amount of sugar and calories in your cake mix, you can use Diet 7 Up instead. Like before, use a strawberry cake mix with 12 ounces of Diet 7 Up. Blend them together, toss it in the oven and wait for your delicious cake to bake.

3. Strawberry Cake With Orange Soda

If you have spent any time on Pinterest, you have probably seen cakes in amazing colors or the famous rainbow cakes. Making a strawberry cake with orange soda will give you a more orange color, so it is ideal if you want something fun or are approaching Halloween and Thanksgiving. Like before, you will want to blend your cake mix with 12 ounces of orange soda. The 12 ounces work out to about 1 ½ cups, so you can also just measure this amount out. Afterward, follow the directions on the box for baking it.

4. Yellow Cake and Pumpkin

If you want an extremely delicious cake that tastes like something you would find at a bakery around Halloween, try this option. Buy a package of yellow cake mix and 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree. Blend the ingredients together according to the directions on the package and bake. Since this will be using more wet ingredients than normal, the resulting cake will be significantly more dense and moist than normal.

5. Chocolate Pumpkin

For the chocolate lovers out there, this type of cake is perfect. Like the last option, you need to get a 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree. Blend the pumpkin puree with the cake mix and follow the other instructions on the package for mixing and baking. Voila!

6. Lemon and Oranges

Summertime is a wonderful time of year to experiment with cakes. People want to be outside, enjoying the sunshine, so sit-down meals have to wait until fall rolls around. For a delicious addition to your summertime barbecue or picnic, try out this cake mix. You will want to take a 15-ounce can of Mandarin orange segments and a lemon cake mix. Do not drain the Mandarin oranges because their liquid will just replace the liquid called for on the box. Puree the oranges and their liquid before blending them into the cake mix. Afterward, bake your delicious lemon cake according to the directions on the package.

7. Orange and Orange

We think that this option should be called Orange Squared, but you can name it yourself. Buy an orange cake mix and a 15-ounce can of Mandarin orange segments. Like before, you will want the oranges to be undrained and pureed because they will just replace the liquid that is normally in your cake. Blend together, bake according to the package and prepare to tantalize your taste buds.

8. Angelic Cherry

For this option, you need a basic Angel Food cake mix. Buy a can of cherry pie filling and puree it. Afterward, blend it in with the cake mix and make it according to the directions on the box.

9. Angelic Blueberry

While some people love cherries, you do have more options. Angel food cake is great because it readily takes on the flavor of anything you add to it. Grab a can of blueberry pie filling and puree it. Afterward, blend it in with your cake mix before baking it according to the directions on the box.

10. Angelic Pineapple

For summertime, Angelic Pineapple is a great go-to cake. The flavors of the pineapple remind me of those mixed drinks that come with umbrellas and sprinkled in coconut. Buy a can of crushed, undrained pineapple and blend it in with the cake mix without adding liquid. Next, pop you cake in the oven and bake it according to the directions on the box. For bonus points, sprinkle some coconut on top or add a delicious coconut cream frosting.

11. Angelic Apple

Get a can of apple pie filling and mix it into your cake mix. Next, follow the directions on the box for baking it. Delicious!

12. Angel Food Cake and Grape Soda

If you have children who love the color purple, this will be a great cake mix to make. Head to your corner store to buy a package of angel food cake and grape soda. Use 15 ounces of grape soda in the recipe instead of the water that is normally called for. Afterward, follow the directions on the package to make a purple, delicious cake.

13. Pumpkin Spice

Once fall is here again, this cake will be a hit. As Facebook feeds fill up with pictures of pumpkin spice lattes, you can create a pumpkin spice cake. For this two-ingredient cake mix, you need a package of spice cake mix and a 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree. Blend the two ingredients together and bake according to the directions on the package.

14. Spiced Applesauce

Are you tired of just having spice cakes? You can make miniature cakes or just go for morning muffins with this recipe. Take a package of boxed spice cake mix and use two cups of applesauce. You can either cook these as a typical cake or pour them into a muffin man for unbelievably good muffins. Keep in mind that the cooking time will change if you use a muffin pan—the package should say how long it will take instead. If it does not, then keep an eye on them as they cook to make sure that they cook all the way without getting burned.

15. Diet Red Velvet

Red Velvet is a popular cake mix, so this modification is bound to be a hit. To make it extra sweet and delicious, pick your favorite diet soda. We like 7 Up, but you can mix it up. Use 12 ounces of soda instead of the liquid normally called for in the recipe. Mix them together before tossing the cake in the oven. Make sure to follow the baking directions on the package so that it turns out just right.

16. Pumpkin Cake

For a simple fall cake, check out this option. You need a 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree and a package of yellow cake mix. Blend the two ingredients together and then follow the baking directions on the cake package. Perfect!

17. Blueberry Spice

For another delicious cake, try this option. You will want to use a package of spice cake mix and a can of blueberry pie filling. Mix the two ingredients together, bake according to the directions on the box and then enjoy your delicious cake.

18. Chocolate Covered Blueberries

If you love chocolate cake, this option is bound to be appealing. A can of blueberry pie filling and a chocolate cake mix are a match made in heaven. When blended together, these make a delicious, over-the-top flavor that your guests will love. Just mix a can of blueberry pie filling and a package of chocolate cake together before baking them according to the directions on your cake mix package.

19. Diet Carrot

While we may have called it “diet,” this is decidedly not on your list of approved diet foods! Buy a carrot cake mix and mix in 12 ounces of diet soda. Skip the liquid asked for on the package and pop it into the oven. The resulting cake will be more moist and sweeter than your typical carrot cake.

20. Chocolate Pumpkins

This simple, two-ingredient cake mix involves just a 15-ounce can of pumpkin puree and a chocolate cake mix. Mix the two together before following the directions on the cake mix. Afterward, enjoy your chocolate pumpkin cake with a bit of icing or some ice cream on the side.

Remember that these cake mixes are not going to rise as much as you have expected. If you are switching to a muffin pan instead of a cake pan, remember that the muffins will need to be fuller to actually reach a normal size. In addition, they are going to be much softer than normal. You will need to wait at least a few hours for them to cool off completely, or they will break apart in your hands. If you have the time, the best option for the muffins would be to let them sit in the refrigerator overnight before eating them.

There are also many more options and modifications that you can do for other two-ingredient recipes. For example, family-sized brownie recipes can be blended with foods like a 15-ounce can of black beans, a 12-ounce Diet Coke or a 12-ounce Sprite. You can mix and match flavors as you get more comfortable with making modifications.

To make your cake look amazing, try adding some prepared frosting, whipped cream or powdered sugar on top of your cake. My personal favorite is a cream cheese frosting because it balances out some of the extreme sweetness in these cake mixes. If you have a favorite two-ingredient cake mix recipe or just want to tell us about your amazing cake creations, leave a comment below the article.

Starbucks has taken the world by storm with its delicious drinks, foods and awesome service. There’s a reason that regulars visit there so often. Everything is just so dang good.

Really, though, can you think of anything better than a ice cold tea from Starbucks on a hot summer day? What about something warm and delicious on one of those supremely cold and gloomy days? What’s better than that?

However, it can be hard to decide what you want to order when you go, because they have so many different items on their menu. The quantity is insane! You can always find yourself standing there for 20 minutes before even beginning to decide what you really want. Especially when it comes to the melt in your mouth hot drinks that they sell. The categories are endless and the drinks seem to spawn infinity. That’s why we have created this list of the best top ten hot drinks that Starbucks sells today! Sometimes you need something to reference when you are in a hurry. Don’t worry- We got’chu!

  • Vanilla Latte.

Yes, a vanilla latte sounds a little too vanilla, but we promise it’s not! It’s one of the most popular drinks ordered by Starbucks customers. Starbucks makes their vanilla latte with an amazing, rich blend of espresso, steamed milk and vanilla syrup. If there is anything that’s perfect on a winter day or after a bad breakup, it’s the vanilla latte. Sometimes, you have to keep it simple, but keeping it simple doesn’t mean it has to be dissatisfying to your tastebuds. Worried about lattes because you aren’t a milk drinker? No worries, you can substitute the milk with several different options, such as coconut milk and almond milk. If you are trying to stick with your diet you can request sugar-free vanilla syrup and skim or nonfat milk. If you feel like you need an extra kick, you can ask for an extra shot of espresso. This latte is perfect for anyone, anytime!

  • Chai Tea Latte.

We aren’t done with the lattes quite yet! One of the things that makes Starbucks so famous is how delicious they make their lattes. That includes this beautiful chai latte hybrid. The chai tea latte is created by infusing black tea with bits of cinnamon, clove, warm spices and steamed milk. It has all the elements of a relaxing tea and an energizing latte. The best part of this warm drink is that it is perfectly complimented with soy milk instead of regular milk! There’s just something about the soy milk that goes along with all the other beautiful flavors in this drink. This type of beverage just goes to show you that you can definitely have the best of both worlds.

  • Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.

Not really a big fan of  any of their coffee or tea flavors? Don’t fret, Starbucks has your back. They serve some of the most to-die-for hot chocolate around. Although they serve several different types, such as the tuxedo hot chocolate and the molten hot chocolate, nothing compares to a perfect hot cocoa like their salted caramel hot cocoa. Starbucks steams the milk of your choice to make this drink. They then pour in amazing mocha sauce, toffee nut and vanilla syrup. At the end of their masterpiece they top it off with whipped cream, caramel sauce, sea salt and turbinado sugar. Is your mouth watering yet? It should be ‘cause that sounds like heaven.

  • Caffe Americano.

Not everything has to be fancy and full of sugar the next time you visit your local Starbucks. You can keep it quaint by ordering one of their americanos. It’s perfect for people who just adore the taste of coffee and everything it has to offer. All it takes to make this delicious hot drink is a few espresso shots. Literally that’s it! They just top it with a light layer of hot water so the top becomes layered with some crema. It’s a deep, rich flavored beverage. It also holds a whopping 225 mgs of caffeine, perfect for those early morning risers or those trying to pull an all nighter!

  • Cappuccino.

Wow, a cappuccino sure sounds good right now, doesn’t it? Starbucks makes amazing coffee drinks all around and their cappuccino at the top of the best hot drinks list. Another simple drink, yet extremely flavorful in every way. Starbucks uses one of its darkest espresso blends to create this well liked drink. A layer of thick foam is stretched on the top of it and voila- You have this amazing drink perfect for morning or night. You can use different types of milk or milk substitutes, if you aren’t digging the whole milk that barista’s usually throw in.

  • Caramel Macchiato.

Caramel mach’s literally seem to help your worries melt away. They are the perfect drink when you are cramming for exams or out on a fall walk. There is nothing lame about this warm drink! Nothing lame at all. These are one of the more popular choices of coffee drinkers. Not a great choice if you are trying to avoid the dairy, as a majority of what makes a macchiato a macchiato is the brilliant use of milk in it. Starbucks baristas use freshly steamed milk to create a caramel mach. Vanilla syrup is then infused with espresso and caramel is drizzled on top! It’s really an amazing creation. Thank you Starbucks.

  • Cinnamon Dolce Latte.

Starbucks is the true master at crafting perfect lattes. We all know that, right? That’s why we go back time and time again. The cinnamon dolce latte is the perfect mixture of coffee flavors and sugary sweet flavors. The baristas make this delight by steaming milk and adding their famous cinnamon dolce syrup into a beautiful blend of espresso. They add sweetened whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping. Doesn’t that sound perfect? We think so.

  • Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea.

Tea is perfect for those rainy days where you curl up on your couch with a good book. One of the best teas at Starbucks for those types of days is the peach tranquility herbal tea. It’s one of the better brewed teas the coffee chains serves up. It’s a peach tea infused with citrus tones and herbal flavors like chamomile flowers and rose hip peels. Even the description sounds relaxing.

  • Passion Tango Herbal Tea.

This tea is ranted and raved about by Starbucks goers of all kinds!  It is the perfect hot drink if you are looking for something that is caffeine free. It is a bright tea and it surely has the ability to brighten up anyone’s tastebuds. It’s made with papaya bits, citrus hibiscus and lemongrass. They even put a dash of cinnamon in their for good measure. We consider it a tea drinker’s paradise. You might too if you give it a shot.

  • Green Tea Latte.

Last, but certainly not least comes the delectable green tea latte. Again, it’s a beautiful combination of tea and latte that makes our mouths water! To make this, Starbucks uses matcha, a finely ground form of green tea. They mix it with steamed milk to create what they call, “The perfect zen.”

Since Starbucks first became popular years ago, coffee shops and cafes have spread far and wide. In the birthplace of Starbucks in Washington State, there are drive-thru espresso stands, coffee houses and cafes on just about every corner. If you are good at running a business, then starting a coffee shop may be a lucrative business plan for you.

Choosing Creative Coffee Shop and Cafe Names

Now that you have made the decision to start your coffee shop, you have to invest in recipes, buy flavors, find an espresso machine and rent a storefront. You also have to think of the right coffee shop name. While making a name is a good step, you should be careful about how you do it. Long ago, one coffee shop decided to name itself Federal Espresso. The cute, creative name was a violation of FedEx’s copyrights, so FedEx sued. The coffee shop then changed its name to Ex-Federal Espresso, but this still did not work. A creative name needs to be original, or you will end up running into the same problem.

As you try to figure out the right coffee shop name, look around at some of the shops in your area. Like any business, these coffee shops are designed to have catchy, unique names. Often, they express the underlying culture or values of the coffee shop. You need a name that will make a casual pedestrian or driver want to visit, so take your time with this step. Once your coffee shop is incorporated, it will be much harder to change your name later on.

50 Coffee Shop and Cafe Name Ideas

1. The Busy Bean: For the working professional, this is a great name for a cafe.

2. [Name’s] Cafe: If you cannot think of any other name, you can always just use your name followed by cafe or coffee shop.

3. The Daily Grind: Since coffee beans are ground up, this is a clever name for it.

4. The Coffee Club: This sounds like a fun, inviting name that is easy to remember.

5. Baristas: If you cannot think of a more creative name, Baristas is a classy, easy name to use.

6. Ground Up Cafe: You start a business from the ground up. You also start your day from the ground up with a cup of coffee.

7. The Friendly Bean: This name is great if you want to make your inviting for everyone.

8. Seattle Barista: Obviously, you can change the city name to your actual city. You could also pick a French or Italian city name instead to signal that your coffee is as good as these coffee centers.

9. Aroma Mocha: Cute and simple.

10. The Family Bean: This is a good name to choose if you want to signal that your coffee shop is family friendly.

11. Coffee House: It might be simple, but it still sounds quite cute.

12. Coffee Time: Coffee Time is a name that is easy to remember and simple to spell—perfect if your customers are going to search for your shop online.

13. Jacked Up Coffee: This is a clever, cute name.

16. Espresso Express: This is a cute play off of the word “espresso.”

17. Cup of Joe: Cup of Joe is a basic play off of one of the common terms for a cup of coffee.

18. Grinders Cafe: Be careful with this option since many sandwiches are also called grinders.

19. Impresso Expresso: While this option is cute, it may be hard for customers to spell out if they want to search for you online.

20. Mugs Coffee: When you post your employee of the month, you could use mug shots to play on this name.

21. Love You a Latte: This is my personal favorite on the list and the one I would choose if I set up a coffee shop.

22. The Steam Room: Since you steam milk, the Steam Room is a great name.

25. Wake Up Cafe: Hopefully, your coffee will wake your clients up.

29. Wide Awake Cafe: Many coffee shops use some variation of “awake” in their name.

30. Jitterbug Cafe: This is an adorable name to use, and it easily lends itself to a cafe mascot.

31. The Roasted Bean: Cute!

32. Beany Business: This one might be a little too cute.

33. Espresso Cafe: It might be simple, but it works.

34. Yo Jo Coffee Shop: This is a simplified way of saying, “Your Joe,” as in, “Your Cup of Joe.”

35. All Steamed Up: This doesn’t sound particularly family friendly, so perhaps you should use this if your coffee shop is in a fairly hip, young area.

36. Coffee Express: Simple, yet perfect.

37. Screamin’ Beans: If all of your favorite names are taken, try this one.

38. Common Ground: Common ground is where people can share believes and meet together. Coffee grounds are found at a coffee shop. Clever? We think so.

39. Topped Off: You top off coffee with whipped cream or “top off” a cup of coffee, so this name is great.

40. Whipped: Again, this is a better name to use in a hip area since it isn’t particularly family friendly.

41. Spiced Chai Cafe: We love this name, although some customers may think that you have a tea shop instead of a coffee shop.

42. Dream Bean Cafe: A play off of the phrase, “Dream Team.”

43. Expresso: A fun name for a cafe.

If you have spent any time experimenting with recipes, you have probably come across coriander and cilantro. For many people, it may seem like there is no difference between coriander and cilantro. They look fairly similar, and they are technically from the same plant. Thus, the question remains: Are coriander and cilantro actually different in any way?

In the United States and the United Kingdom, there are a number of recipes that mix up cilantro and coriander. Non-chefs like there will often make this mistake. The meanings and herb conveyed when someone says either term is not always the same. While people may mix these herbs up quite a bit, they are actually quite different. A dish that is supposed to be made with coriander is going to taste unbelievably different if you toss in cilantro instead. Unless you want your meals to turn out oddly, you have to learn the difference between coriander and cilantro.

How Were Coriander and Cilantro Named?

The Latin plant name for coriander is Coriandrum sativum. This Latin name is the reason why its common name is coriander. Meanwhile, the name “cilantro” actually comes from the Spanish word for this herb. This makes sense since many Spanish and Latin American dishes use cilantro in them. One notable example is salsa, which almost always has cilantro in it.

Origins of the Words Coriander and Cilantro

In the United States and the United Kingdom, we tend to refer to the stalks and leaves of the plant as coriander. While you can use fresh coriander (and this will probably make your recipe taste even better), coriander is generally dried and stored before it is used. If you are using the seeds of the coriander plant, then it is generally called coriander.

In the United States, we tend to call the leaves and stalks of the coriander plant, “cilantro.” The seeds are just called “coriander” without including the word seeds. This basically means that Americans are using the same plant by two different names based on which part of the plant they are using.

Across the world in India, both herbs are referred to by an entirely different name. To make this even more confusing, India calls coriander and cilantro “dhania.” If you see that something is flavored with dhania on your menu, then it is just referring to the stalks, leaves or seeds of the coriander plant.

What Should You Do?

Now that you know that both herb names refer to the same plant, you still have to figure out which option to use. The first step is to look at your recipe. If it is an American recipe, coriander will refer to just the seeds and cilantro refers to the rest of the plant. If the recipe is from the United Kingdom, then coriander refers to the rest of the plant and coriander seeds calls for just the seeds.

If you can’t tell where the recipe is from, its okay. Many recipes will also tell you how to prepare the herb such as cutting the leaves or stalks. If the recipe asks you to cut the herb in any way, it is probably talking about the leaves and stalks. If it asks you to grind coriander up, it is most likely talking about the seeds, but could be referring to either option.

Many people in the United Kingdom do not realize that there is actually an herb called cilantro. Often, the first time you may be exposed to this herb is when you are watching an American cooking show or reading an American recipe book. If you were particularly observant, you may have noticed that the plant in the cooking show looked suspiciously like coriander. You weren’t wrong. They are really the same plant, and your recipe will taste right as long as you use the correct part of the plant.

Get Help Translating Your Recipe

If you are unsure what your cookbook wants you to use, there are a few options. Other than looking at where it was published, you can also look at the measurements used in the recipe. The United Kingdom and the United States use different systems of measurements, so this could indicate where your recipe is from. In addition to translating the herb names, you may also need help translating the measurements. This can easily be done online, although the measurements do not always work out perfectly—for example, you may need 7/8 cup of one ingredient instead of a whole number like 1 cup.

Cooking with coriander seeds, coriander or cilantro can be quite delicious. As long as you figure out where your recipe is from, you can make sure that your finished dish tastes exactly like you wanted to. When in doubt, check the publisher of your book. You can also look for traditional English or American spellings like “favorite” versus “favourite” to figure out where your book is from.

Some people just love sour flavors. If you like sour flavors, lemons might not be enough for you. You need a flavor that makes your mouth water and almost causes pain because it is so sour. Luckily, you are not alone. To answer the demand for super sour flavors, many candy companies offer candies that make you pucker up and beg for more.

All of the sour candies on this list are rated in terms of three factors. We looked at how delicious the candies are, how sour they are and how long their flavor lasts. Each candy is ranked on a scale of one to five. A level five is the supreme level of flavor, sourness and longevity. Meanwhile, a one means that the candy is about as flavorful as a bowl of rice.

Number 1: Toxic Waste

Sour: 5+++++
Deliciousness: 1
Long-Lasting Flavor: 2.5

If you want to have super sour candy that makes your lips pucker and your eyes squint, then you have to try Toxic Waste. Out of the eight different candies on this list, Toxic Waste was the clear winner. As the name suggests, it is designed to max out your sour sensors. If you do not like sour flavors, you will find yourself regretting your decision to try Toxic Waste. Within seconds, you will find yourself reaching for your toothbrush or a glass of water to cleanse your palette. It may be the sourest candy ever invented.

To really love this type of candy, you have to truly love sour flavors. This is for the hard-core, intense sour lover. If you like sour flavors, but not enough to cause yourself mouth-puckering pain, then skip this one.

While Toxic Waste may be the most sour candy on this list, it is not for the faint of heart. It also ranks fairly poorly compared to other candies when you look at how it tastes, and it doesn’t do so well in how long the flavor lasts as well. It wins because it is the most sour candy. If you do work up the courage to try Toxic Waste, do so with care. You need to rinse or brush your teeth afterward or the high citric acid content will end up destroying your tooth enamel. Like we

This stuff is pretty nasty no matter how you look at it. Definitely the sourest of the bunch. It’s accurately named, at least: to call it anything else would be false advertising. Toxic Waste candy is so loaded with face-shrinking, mouth-puckering, saliva-inducing citric acid that you are advised – seriously – to brush your teeth or at least rinse your mouth afterwards so that you don’t hurt your teeth. That’s right, Toxic Waste is so sour it can dissolve your tooth enamel. Fun! Don’t believe me? Check out the video below of people trying tasting it for the first time.

Toxic Waste may be the sourest candy ever. However, if you can make it past the first 30-45 seconds or so, the sour coating will eventually dissolve, and it’ll actually start to taste like something you want to eat. But that first 45 seconds or so is pretty awful.

Number 2: Atomic Warheads

Sour: 5
Deliciousness: 4
Long-Lasting Flavor: 4

There are a number of people who absolutely love Atomic Warheads. While these may be the next most sour candy on this list, they are still drastically less sour than Toxic Waste. If you are gradually trying to increase your sour tolerance though, these are a good candy to go with. Atomic Warheads are loaded with citric acid which will leave your lips tingling and your eyes watering. If you want to make eating Atomic Warheads a bit more fun, try having a competition with your friend. Whoever spits out their Atomic Warhead first loses the game.

As a child, you probably enjoyed Atomic Warheads in their traditional form as a hard candy. In recent years, a new creation has hit the marketplace. Now, you can spray Atomic Warheads directly into your mouth. In addition to boosting your sour level, this option means that you cannot just spit it out. This new option is not for the faint of heart. If you absolutely love Atomic Warheads, then Spray Warheads may be the best option for you. Prepare a glass of water in advance, just in case you need to quickly rinse out the extreme sour flavor.

Number 3: Altoids Apple Sours and Lemon

Sour: 4
Deliciousness: 3
Long-Lasting Flavor: 5

You probably remember what the original Altoids were like. Made of super strong peppermint, they were the type of candy that didn’t even deserve the name candy. Honestly, most of the people who used these former Altoids were either on dates or trying to cover up a scent like alcohol or tobacco.

While the original Altoids were decidedly more of a mint than a candy, Altoids Apple Sours and Lemons are quite delicious. Like the original Altoids, they have a long-lasting flavor that is perfect for you sour lovers out there. These sour candies are not an extreme sour, but they are still enough to make your lips pucker a bit.

You basically have two different sour Altoid options. Depending on what you are looking for, you may want to go with the Apple Sours or Lemon Sours. The Sour Lemons are quite sour and probably the best choice if you genuinely like sour tastes. If you want something with a slightly sweet flavor, go with the Altoids Apple Sours. While neither option is crazily sour, it will certainly shock someone who eats a few of these candies without expecting it!

Number 4: Cry Baby Tears’ Extra Sour Candy

Sour: 4
Deliciousness: 4
Long-Lasting Flavor: 3

As the name suggests, Cry Baby Tears is supposed to make you cry because it is just so sour. Again, this sour candy is not quite so sour as Toxic Waste or Atomic Warheads. These candies are just the right level of sour if you want to be able to eat more than just one at a time. Keep in mind that Cry Baby Tears’ Extra Sour Candy are still loaded in acids, so you will want to rinse your mouth or brush your teeth after you try them if you plan on preserving your tooth enamel.

Number 5: Sour Flush

Sour: 3.5
Deliciousness: 4
Long-Lasting Flavor: 2.5

While Sour Flush may not be the most sour flavor on this list, it does rank highly in terms of flavor. Unfortunately, this is combated by the inconvenient consumption mechanism. Instead of tossing back a hard candy, Sour Flush requires you to use a plunger. It is made in the shape of a toilet bowl that is filled with a sweet and sour flavor. You dunk the plunger in the “toilet,” then lick it off. If you love sour, then you will have to experiment a bit. Each flavor has a different level of sourness with options like blue raspberry topping the sour scale. If you are looking for something a little less sour and a little more sweet, try the grape flavor of Sour Flush.

Number 6: Sour Punch Straws

Sour: 2
Deliciousness: 4.5
Long-Lasting Flavor: 3.5

If you have ever tried Sour Punch Straws, then you know that their name is a bit of a misnomer. While they have a bit of sour flavor, it is decidedly not a powerful, lip-puckering taste. At the same time, we still love these straws. You can actually use them like straws—for the adults out there, try using a Sour Punch Straw to slurp your favorite mixed drink. Each Sour Punch Straw is made with sour flavoring throughout the straw, so you won’t just slurp away a sour coating in one gulp. Instead, the sour flavor is there to last.

Number 7: Sour Nerds

Sour: 1
Deliciousness: 4
Long-Lasting Flavor: 2

Sour Nerds are another misnomer on this list. They only have a slightly sour flavor, but they make up for this with their general deliciousness. You can down many of these little fellas and still be left wanting more. If you consume enough of them, you will actually taste the sour flavor. You can also try a similar candy made by Wonka if you want a more intense sour. The Sour Gobstoppers are a bit more sour, although you will end up losing some of the deliciousness. You really have to decide which flavor matters the most to you. Would you rather have the most sour candy or the most delicious?

Number 8: Sweet Tarts

Sour: 1
Deliciousness: 3
Long-Lasting Flavor: 1.5

If you are just starting to test out sour candies, then Sweet Tarts is a good option to go with. They have only a tiny amount of sour flavoring in each Sweet Tart, so it is a good way to boost your tolerance. If you are already biting down on lemons though, then Sweet Tarts will taste about as sour as oatmeal to you. They really aren’t a particularly sour candy, but they are still a childhood classic.

For a truly sour experience, skip out on candy altogether. You’ll save on calories and useless sugar by just biting down on lemons and limes. For a slightly sour fruit, try some pomelos. Just remember—if something is extremely sour, you will probably want to brush your teeth afterward so that the acid does not eat into your tooth enamel.
