These days, models come in many different forms, with looks from all over the world, all races, all ethnicities, and even all body shapes and sizes having their place on the catwalk and in fashion magazines. First scouted by modelling agencies when she was just 14 years of age, Danish-born Frederikke Sofie is a name that many won’t have heard of, but there’s a good chance you’ll have seen her around. Her beautiful, geek-like looks have bagged her campaigns with some of the biggest names in the fashion design world. These include Zara, Missoni, and also Chloé. Of course, being compared to an actual Goddess certainly helps. That flowing blonde hair and good looks have had many calling her ‘Aphrodite’, after the Greek Goddess herself.

Believe it or not, Frederikke Sofie didn’t go into the modelling and fashion world to make a name for herself, as such, but rather to earn money so that she could go travelling and view all the wonders that our beautiful planet has to offer.

2 – Gigi Hadid

Gigi is a very well known name in the world of fashion, not only voted as “International Model of the Year” by the British Fashion Council, back in 2016. At just 22 years of age, the list of work is impressive, with a career that started when she was just a couple of years old. Back then, she was picked up by the Guess clothing range, but she did go back to school for a while, before making her model return a few years later, in 2011.

She’s now known for being one of the most-photographed models in the business, and for being the long-term partner of ex-One-Directioner, Zayn Malik. Let’s not also forget that she’s a totally kickass babe. Do you remember when she was assaulted and become a ninja-superhero to defend herself? We’re still applauding that if we’re honest.

3 – Ashley Graham

30-year-old Ashley Graham is a model well known for rocking her curves on the catwalks and covers of magazines. Helping to curve the way for plus-size women everywhere, Ashley not only conquered the catwalk, her fierce demeanour and sassy manner winning over the masses but also went into fashion design, starting with creating an underwear line.

4 – Jena Goldsack

Cornwall-born Jena has proclaimed that her dream modelling gig would be to walk in the fashion show for Victoria’s Secret, and with an already impressive fashion career behind her, that dream might just come to fruition.

She’s worked alongside Bella Hadid and held her own in campaigns for a number of other designers, including Versus Versace. With over 100,000 Instagram followers, a number that is steadily growing, you’ll definitely need to wait and see what this beautiful starlet does next.

5 – Bella Hadid

We mentioned her already, and her sister, Gigi, also has a spot on this list, but it’s now time to pay some attention to Bella Hadid, another very well known name in the world of beauty, fashion, and modelling.

Another one who started her career quite early, Bella actually worked in commercials from the age of 16, before being signed up with a modelling agency in 2014. It wasn’t long after that she began walking the catwalks, making her debut in the same year. Just one year later, she added the following designers to have worked-with list: Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Fürstenberg, and more. She’s added a whole bunch more since then too, including working with Chanel Couture and has even become an ambassador for Dior Beauty. That’s quite the career!

6 – Alicia Burke

She’s only 22-years-old, but that hasn’t stopped Alicia from making a very big name for herself, walking on catwalks for some seriously big names — Tommy Hilfiger, for example, as well as Stella McCartney, and also Dolce & Gabbana. (We’re not jealous at all …)

Born in Jamaica, her 5ft 10in frame has delighted audiences from all around the world, and you may have spotted her recently on the Winter 2017 holiday advertisements for Bobbi Brown. There’s no wonder she’s quickly earning a social media following, with over 15,000 and counting!

7 – Zhenya

You may not have heard of this beautiful starlet yet, but Ukrainian-born beaut, Zhenya, is certainly making waves in the fashion world. Opening shows for the likes of Erdem, Nina Ricci, and even Prabal Gurung, she’s got a few other talents hidden under her belt that might just surprise you. She’s a very keen interior designer, and she’s also a dab hand at karate too.

8 – Kendall Jenner

Let’s be honest, everyone’s talking about Kendall Jenner right now. Well, actually, they’re not. Everyone’s talking about everyone else in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, especially with all of those rumoured pregnancies … (We can’t wait to see whether or not those rumours were true!)

Not just a TV personality, well known for her part in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and various other spin-offs of the show, Kendall is also a very respected fashion model, walking in the catwalks of fashion shows in Milan, Paris, and New York. Oh, and that’s before we mention *that* Victoria’s Secret moment too …

She doesn’t always get it right. We all remember that Pepsi ad, right? But, she’s still a young girl, and a beautiful one at that, and she’s still learning.

She’s only 19 years of age, but Faretta has certainly made a name for herself in the fashion model world. So much so, in fact, that Victoria Beckham, “Posh Spice” herself, even came out publicly to say that she wished she looked like this young model.

With over 35 fashion catwalks under her belt and a look that appeals to a wide range of designers, the Croatian-born beauty is most definitely one that you should be on the lookout for in 2018 and beyond.

10 – Candice Huffine

You might not know who Candice Huffine is, but she’s making some pretty serious waves in the modelling world, becoming the first plus-size woman to feature in the Pirelli Calendar, as well as walking various catwalks. In the #ImNoAngel campaign, with Lane Bryant, she earned herself attention and acclaim on an international level and has now been featured in a wide range of fashion and beauty magazines. Just pick up Glamour, Vogue, Italian Vogue, or V Magazine, and there’s a good chance you’ll spot her. She’s become quite the sought-after model.
