So should I go to the police? It’s very distressing to be watched, stared at and followed, I was naive and thought it was a sign that he was interested in me but if that’s not the case then its harrass net and stalking.

If he called the police on you for any reason, then there is no reason for you to continue a relationship with him. Either he, or a family member, called the police on you because you contacted him. Put him in your past and move on. Legal troubles are not worth developing because of a passing interest in a person that you are not in a relationship with.

I met and fell for this guy. He called me and asked me to meet him out, I was at a party so couldn’t meet up with him. So a couple of days later I text him and say it was nice to hear his voice. Next police call ME and say I’m stalking him! His friend (I realize) sees me at a cafe and literally follows me to a table next to me, then the guy turns up to sit with him! I love him! Often I find him where I am and he’s staring at me? What would he report me to the police when he is the one stalking me?
