I am 5ft tall and I have big thighs (the first place I gain weight and the last place I lose weight. A lot of the over the knee socks are too tight and look bad or roll down. The faux thigh high tights are awesome I love the non opaque ones from urban outfitters that are shear black on top. But I do wish I could find the perfect over the knee sock that would actually keep me warm and stay up and not pinch in on my thighs…..this is my quest any suggestions? I liked this article a lot btw I never write on these kind of forums but liked your article xoxo

You could try searching for a cable knit sweater online and see if something similar pops up. One of the things that I do when I find a style I love, but cannot find it at a store, is I make it myself. Currently, I have been buying up mens flannel shirts and tailoring them so that they are dress-like with leggings. I also changed around a few shirts to make over-sized vests. If starting an entire outfit seems daunting, you can always sew and modify the clothes that you find on clearance or at a second-hand store. In addition to being super fun, it means that you will have a style that no one will ever be able to copy. 😉
