Hi yeah! Help! There is this guy in my spanish class who stares at me. We have been partners earlier in the year and whenever I turn to him it’s like he does his best to not look me directly in the eye. But later on in the year, I find that he keeps on staring at me. I’m always the one to look away, he has this blank expression on his face and looks me into my eyes. Also this guy has a girlfriend but she goes to another school. Now he calls me out in class like “Sophie! Sophie! She should get the last muffin” and doesn’t stop chanting until half the class starts to. Also when I get out my labtop he’s like “Sophie, I see that IMessage who are you texting?” or like “Sophie, are you cheating?”. I finally interacted with him but he was like seats down and he was eating one of the things I brought to class and gives me a thumbs up leaning over so he could see me. He hasn’t approached me physically but when it comes to talking to me he calls out something in class like those teases I said to you when I have my back against him. Also this guy smells SO bad in my class that I sit infront of and he’s always the one to seem to notice I’m suffering and starts laughing and says “look at sophie” to one of the guys infront of them. I wanna laugh and give him a middle finger but I feel like I lost all my confidence whenever he does things like that. I NEVER respond to anything whenever guy try and talk to me or get my snapchat EXCEPT him. HE’S SO ATTRACTIVE, but I feel like he is wayyyy out of my league, but I think it’s weird he does these things if there isn’t a connection. I like him SO much, it’s embarassing, but I really need to know . Thanks!

Staring at you could be a sign that he likes you and is just too afraid to do anything about it. Or, he could start because he is bored in class, you remind him of someone or something else. There is no way to know for sure the reason why yet. It sounds entirely possible. While just staring at you is not a big enough sign to be entirely sure, it sounds like it is a possibility. If you want to find out how he feels for sure, start talking to him. You will be able to read his mannerisms better in person, and it will give you (and him) a chance to develop your relationship.
